Re: ATTENTION: Internet Explorer Users!

Is it necessary to include the Google toolbar among the spyware toolbars?  Granted it DOES tell google what site you're visiting when you fetch its pagerank, but still...

Re: ATTENTION: Internet Explorer Users!

My thoughts exactly - putting the Google toolbar in there seemed a bit unfair...

Re: ATTENTION: Internet Explorer Users!

I like firefox a lot, but it could have some improvements.  Especially when it comes to java.  Java pages just take so long to load for me in firefox.

Re: ATTENTION: Internet Explorer Users!

No, that's something else again. Whatever that logo is beside the google drop-down menu, that's where that toolbar is from.

MAn, I used the internet irresponsibly for years, and I only recognise maybe a third of those.

Re: ATTENTION: Internet Explorer Users!

Some of those bars didn't go away. If you turned them off in the toolbar menu, they'd stay. And if you finally got rid of them, they'd reappear every time you got on another website.

Re: ATTENTION: Internet Explorer Users!

Yeah, you have to edit some windows command.  I'm not really an internet whiz but I think McAfee.com and other anti virus sites tell you exactly what you have to do to dispose of them indefinately.
