I just bought dwedit.org...

I just bought dwedit.org...  Now I need to know who's a good web host to pay to point a domain there.  Preferably one for very light usage...

Re: I just bought dwedit.org...

If you point the Nameservers at NS1.PIXELDNS.NET and NS2.PIXELDNS.NET, I can have it either redirect to your comcast page or just point to the equivalent page at dwedit.animutationportal.com.

By the way, AP is switching web hosts soon because I'm nearly fed up with the current one... I've heard a lot of recommendations for Dreamhost (and then you'd even get your own shell account dwedit), but if you know of any good ones I'd be happy to hear them.

Looks like it points here already though?  Oh well, let me know...

Re: I just bought dwedit.org...

If you want it to have its own hosting, for really low bandwidth stuff NearlyFreeSpeech hosting is pretty good... they charge $1/GB of bandwidth, and monthly fee based on the amount of storage you are using ($0.01 per megabyte, IIRC).  I've used them in the past a little, they seemed speedy enough.

Re: I just bought dwedit.org...

I recently switched to http://sweethosting.net/

Been very good so far, great packages for the price.  A lot better than my old host

Re: I just bought dwedit.org...

Well, now there's a quickly thrown up site at dwedit.org, which basically points to the comcast site.  The board has now moved to www.dwedit.org/dwedit_board instead of dwedit.animutationportal.com, so editing your posts will probably fail unless you go there.
