Tool to extract savestates and SRAM saves from a PocketNES save file.

Also includes some of the messiest source code you'll ever see.

Very nice tool, thx :D

My extracted savestates from zelda2 come in this file I think: version_998_savestate.bin
I'd like to use it with nes emu for pc. But I'm not sure what to do with it now.

The tool is really intended for SRAM saves rather than savestates, savestates would be hard to convert.  I've managed successfully convert savestates once.
I might make the next version of PocketNES use savestates compatibile with FCEU.

In the mean time, you can use your .sav file with PC emulators.
