What data is (or isn't) written to the .sav?

I'm just wondering if there's any info on what's written to the .sav file

The savestates would be there
Emulator preferences arent? (ie. preference of SBC>GBC, manually set palettes etc)
SRAM for each rom is

is that about it?

Re: What data is (or isn't) written to the .sav?

I think the .sav files are for us to save games during playing and the newly saved data will overwrite the previous data. So once you choose to save, the .sav file will be renewed accordingly.
