teach me how to use cheat finder like i am an unborn fetus

i have no idea how any of this crap works explain it to me like i am 2 and in the most simple way possible

(just so you know i am using a 150 in one cart from amazon)

Every time you use the cheat finder, it is comparing "New" (what is currently in memory) to "Old" (what used to be in memory when you last checked).

Example, finding your lives counter.

Start using the cheat finder
Update Values to start out.
Play a bit
"New" = "Old" because your lives counter hasn't changed.
Die
"New" < "Old" because the value decreased.
Die again
"New" < "Old" because the value decreased.
Play for a while, don't die
"New" = "Old" because your lives counter hasn't changed

That will probably find your lives counter.
