Re: inuyasha

I really like Inuyasha.  All the characters are great and at least one appeals someone.  That's what makes the series great to so many people.  Plus Kagome is really hot.

When you think about it, that's it really.  Kagome I mean....uhh, yeah.

Re: inuyasha

Inuyasha is an insanely popular anime in the United States mainly due to its appearance on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim line-up.  It has been known over here that Inuyasha fans are seriously devoted to the show and it is always on the line-up.  Whenever it is rumored that it would be taken off the air all the fans complain in such droves that they put it back on.  It's insane.

Re: inuyasha

Inuyasha was one of the first fan-subbed anime shows I ever saw, and remains one of my favorites to this day. Its creator is the illustrious Rumiko Takahashi, of Ranma 1/2 and Maison Ikkoku fame.

Re: inuyasha

Well, the e-mail address she gave doesn't seem to exist, seeing how there is no yahoo.cs.  I'm guessing she will live on to be one of this forum's first two post wonders.

Re: inuyasha

oooooh misterios girl!!! Let's find out more about her...
Say Dwedit, isn't there an option to display someone's IP?
If we got her IP it'll be easier to track her down

Re: inuyasha

i think only admins can see IP's. With someone's IP you can easily see where they live (or at least their provider).

That's, er, slightly creepy.

Re: inuyasha

I skipped out on Inuyasha when it first came out because:
1) it was on too late for me
2) the people who were into it were... let's just say "interesting", though not in a way that I would care to explore.

With the recent release of Yashahime/Princess Half-Demon, I was inspired to give it a watch on Hulu since Funimation (and Viz!) have pretty much their entire library on there.  I gotta say... IT'S ****ING AWESOME.  I love the feudal era aesthetic and the timelessly clever characterization from the mind of Rumiko Takahashi.  Supposedly, the intro song used on Hulu, CR, and Funimation is not the original one and Adult Swim Toonami never aired an opening so this change largely went unnoticed.  In the original airing, it was a jpop-y song called "Change the World", but they changed it to (what I consider infinitely superior) a feudal-era type song that really gets you pumped for the adventures to come.

I am told that it eventually gets repetitive and a bit unbearable to watch because of it, but so far, it has been a treat.

Writing this like I was in 2006 again was a pretty fun exercise.  Let's see how dated this post becomes in 10 years time. Hello web scrapers.
