Linking has never been present in Goomba or Goomba color.
Oh, does that one just allow sending games to another GBA, but no actual linking emulation?

Hello,
first of all thank you so much for the work you put into this project,
second of all thank you for maintaining it for over 8 years!
now i have a question, which i can not find an answer to anywhere:
first there was goomba
then there was goomba color
can i use goomba color for gameboy classic games (on ezflash latest version, on gameboy micro)?
regards,
Anonymous
Thanks so much for this!
Is there any way you could fix it so that you can save songs normally in LSDJ?

Hello Id like to say i love the emulator, Thank you! One thing i was wondering , i dont know if it was asked before , but is there a way to play gbc and gb at fullscreen like how its possible with toggling l and r?
While the GBA hardware will normally let you resize GB games with L/R, this emulator does not support it. GBA programs don't get the hardware L/R scaler feature.
The only way to get anything close to it would be to use affine background layers (like mode 7) to stretch it, and it would look awful.

(excuse me for my english)
Excelent job, I love this emulator
I wondering ...how can I return to menu ?
Press L+R.
If your L+R buttons are broken (happens on many systems), there is a tool available that will let you change the key combination.

I guess my bottom R died, but at least i can use my bottom L in other game. On the other hand, Is it possible to save ingame in goomba color??? I had some problems with pokemon gold.
Thanks for your help.
I find the solution by myself lol:
First of all, you save ingame, and then you must create a save state. Finally, when you restart the gbasp, appears that the game was saved ingame. It works in pokemon gold.

Thank you very much , i understand now .
Hi, I've played Donkey Kong Country GBC on Goomba COlor (latest), and there are sprite/palette glitches. The Donkey Kong land trilogy might have the same problem, i haven't tried yet. Can dwedit fix this problem? Thanks.
\HARRY POTTER SORCERER STONE* MENU AND DIALOG BOX BUG, SLOWDOWNS.
\HARRY POTTER CHAMBER OF SECRET* MENU AND DIALOG BOX BUG, SLOWDOWNS (fps 45).
Second this. Wish I could play them so badly.
I can get the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror to load past the blue credit intro screen. The screen goes black and nothing happens!
Hi guys,
I bought recently a GBA flash cart, and I would like to as if it possible to implement full screen (remove boarders) on Goomba colour.
I would love to, because GBa have native option pressing L or R.
Thanks.

Not really possible on the GBA, since the GBA's native GB support is completely different than a GBA running a program that emulates a GBC.
The affine transformation modes aren't good enough to get the same effect.

Will ever be?
Hello, will the save state also been fixed for the super card with sd ? or will this only work word the ez flash versions ? I want it to use it for the original gameboy games and create save state. it is always gone when I reboot it.
hope to have a reply.
First, thanks for your time invested in this superb emulator. I play it with ezreform in my lite, to play gameboy games. But life isn´t always fair and i can´t play to Metalgear Ghostbabel. It would be great if you tried to fix it, i´m telling you with all respect ;).
Anyway, thanks man.
We need to get Sonic 3D Blast 5 to work.

Is there any possible way to make Pokemon Crystal work on Goomba Color, the game seems to run fine enough but it keeps getting graphical corruptions whenever something happens. I tried using Pokemon Polished Crystal (an overhaul hack of Pokemon Crystal) and it seemed to work even better than a vanilla Pokemon Crystal rom would but it was also short lived as the graphical corruptions did too happen as well. I'd like to assume its something to do with the how the game loads it's graphics or if Goomba Color lacks enough RAM for Pokemon Crystal access, but what do I know I am not one to make emulators I just use them ?. But I would like to know if there potentially a way to make this game fully playable.
hey, i love this emulator so much, runs shantae quite well from a repro pokemon cart
one request though, is there any chance you could add flash backed saving? this is how the bootleg pokemon carts handle saving without requiring a battery, they save to sram as normal then after saving copy from the sram onto the flash memory. at the start of the game they copy the save from the memory to the sram.
being able to do this in goomba would be amazing and would make gb/c gaming on real hardware a lot less of a terrifying experience as you no longer have to worry about a battery dying and taking your save with it. this would also mean saving works on repro carts without having to solder in a battery.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'm a little busy now, but flash writing is a good idea. I briefly looked to see if there was already a suitable flash filesystem out there.

totally understand, thankyou so much for considering though!
Just stumbled across this post after recently getting playing started on my GBA again. Goomba and PocketNES have been super fun to play with! Thanks so much for all your work on them! I know this last request from pie was pretty old, but being able to save right to the flash on the repro carts would be a killer feature. It would definitely prevent some future tears from my children (and let's face it me too) when that sram batt dies.
Thanks again!
