Goomba GBA with support of Masterboy color

Have you guys seen this?
http://brunni.palib.info/new/index.php? … _masterboy

you can color orginal gameboy games (all of them)
unlike gameboy colorizer this doesn't destroy the game.

is it possible to incorperate into goomba? as the guy Brunni supplies source code.

thanks

Re: Goomba GBA with support of Masterboy color

It looks like it just wouldn't scale well, I don't see any constraints in that colorization method that would limit the number of custom palettes.  If it was a software renderer, I could go wild, but I'm limited to up to 14 palettes for backgrounds, and 16 palettes for sprites.

Re: Goomba GBA with support of Masterboy color

this mario land 2 only uses 11 pallets.
check the ini file.

or is it more complicated than that

**EDIT**
hmm i guess he uses a bit more.....
further in the ini he uses another 32 pallets
i'm sure we can just limit ourselves?

Thanks Pikamus, very interesting indeed, i would have done some colorization (thinking particulary to GC burger time) but it really lacks a GBA port rather that PSP :-/.  I second this proposition, Brunni's project rocks.
