Stolen with a capital S. This kind of crap just pisses me off.

I coulda sworn this happened once before on Newgrounds, possibly with one of Andrew Kepple's cartoons.
Yeah, thieves suck.

Last night I had a dream I was watching one of those stand-up shows on TV, and a comedian was doing a bit about, you guessed it, the battle on the roof of Riovanes Castle..." -Indo Tenbuki

Damn, that's just... crap. Why would someone steal a movie and then put it on newgrounds? Probably can't make his own flash movies :P

Wow, and some people in the reviews are praising it as a great movie, telling him to make sequels

Saddest of all is how the thief appears to be getting away with it. The reason why nobody seems to recognize the movie as Dwedit's work is because it's not one of his better-known movies. I'm sure if the thief ripped off Suzukisan or JamezBond, more people would call him out.

We should get the thief!
We have to make a fist and reply on the movie that it's ripped off!
This is troublesome... WHAAT?! THAT'S MY LINE!!!

He didn't even finish dragonquest bob, he just stayed with the unfinished movie.
Isn't there a report function on Newgrounds?
Offline
If everyone just makes a review telling that he stole it, there will be a moderator or something that'll notice right?

Not for a fairly long while. Newgrounds is a huge site, with over 200,000 movies.

There should be a report button for all flashes there, you'd be surprised at what I've seen stolen blatantly from other pages and only removed much later.
Still not removed yet.. :(

I think the problem is that when you report flashes they cannot be viewed temporarily. So some idiots would just report like every flash they see.

I gave it an 0... overall
If everyone did the same they'll have to notice it. Even if it's after some time....

Double Dollar I still doubt that they would notice. The only way to get it off there would be to send a letter to an admin. I'm not sure who but even then it would take days if not months. That damn bastard.

Yeah, a report function on newgrounds would just be abused repeatedly. It might be different if the function was for members only, since then abuse could result in a ban. But unrestricted use of a report function would just lead to chaos.

Well's here's what NG has to say in it's Review Guidelines (which very few actually read) about stoeln flashes:
If you believe an entry is stolen, do not comment about it in your review. If you are wrong, you may convince other users that the entry is stolen and you may cause a legitimate entry to receive an unfairly low score, or have the whistle blown on it! Use the whistle option, if available, to flag the entry as stolen when you believe that is the case. If there is no whistle option available (the entry is no longer under judgment) contact (http://www.newgrounds.com/contact.html) Wade with as many details as you can about the stolen Flash and where you think it was stolen from.

Well if you look for it you can find out how.

Wow, I have never encountered such a pathetic idea as to steal a flash movie idea, lets remove his tongue and cut off his index fingers.
